HECK NO! emo stands for emotional and emotional people are negative, they're what people think are the "suicidal" type. and Fall Out Boy is nowhere close to that, they're... i guess punkish.

They're not emo..they're just plain bad music. 'Emo' comes from the word emotional and they don't sing about anything emotional at all. An example of 'emo' would be Bright Eyes or any of the bands featured on www.emogame.com (which is a fun game by the way!)

no they are more like popish/alternative. mcr would be considered emo.
