Did Carr pull his starters and let only the 3rd & 4th string play today?

no Carr wanted to pull his starters by halftime, and at one point had their backup quarterback warming up but Ball State kept hanging around.

Two turnovers cost Michigan 9 points as Hart fumbled for the first time in 2 years and the ball went out the endzone for a safety and Henne didn't see the safety drop down into zone and threw the ball right to him which was returned for a touchdown.

Defensively Michigan was looking very good (47 yards rushing against for the game) but their secondary let two receivers behind them for long gains of over 50 yards each.

Basically Michigan must have been looking forward to the OSU matchup, as were the Buckeyes. Both teams barely squeaked by their competition but a win is a win. Both Illinois and Ball State came to play today and really had each team on the ropes. Wild day in college sports as three top 5 teams almost fell to subpar opponents with OSU winning against Illinois by 7, Michigan beating Ball State by 8, and Florida holding off Vanderbilt by 6.

teams tend to be lazy when they're playing a lower team. They won and thats what matters.
