WOW! You are taking on a monster BIG job.

I did several years of carnivals or as they call them now festivals for my children's elementary school.

This is the beginning of November, you can't be talking about for this fall? Can You?? If so I would say one most likely could not be pulled together in such a short time.

You have to arrange with game suppliers to rent the games. (This requires several months in advance) Also drink wagons from Pepsi or Coke have to be scheduled way in advance.

You need to pull together committees for games, food, booths, drawings, bake sale, country store from food collections, a yard sale booth from donations.. etc. Don't forget advance advertising and publicity.

I don't think I can give you an answer long enough to cover all that has to be done.

If you started now you could be ready for a spring Festival. But maybe I'm thinking bigger than your wanting to plan. I certainly wish I had all of my old notes.

Look hard for Parents with good contacts (example my granddaughters school have parents that own a chic fila (sp) so they provide food to sell) or past experience for resources. Good Luck.

Select the activities you would like to have - cake walk, moonwalk, dunking booth, bobbing for apples etc. You may want to have a first aid/lost in found station depending on size.

Second - Make a list of materials you will need to run each event.

Third - make a list of people that you want to run each event

Fourth - organize the gate - if there is charge for admission or if someone needs to pass out tickets for door prizes.

Five - organize how the participants will rotate to each station. If it's a school festival, you may want to have a certain time for each each grade to be at a different event. You would not want large kids and small kids in a moonwalk together.

Have fun!!

inexpensive Trick headlines, supported via Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, coronary heart, The Pretenders, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. it would be held on the riverfront on St. Feriole Island in Prairie du Chien (I continually theory that must be a great place for a music competition). BA: Trick Fest quantity (regardless of is next) BA2: one greater via inexpensive Trick BA3: the maximum up-to-date, Rockford, inexpensive Trick ('ninety seven), inexpensive Trick ('seventy seven), music for Hangovers, Silver (I had a complicated time figuring out which of the 6 to leave off the record)
