If I survived the heart-attack from winning I would initially put the money into a short-term fixed bank account (eg. 3 or 6 months) while I decided - to not only get the highest interest rate but to stop me spending it stupidly - only fools rush in. After 3 or 6 months I would probably have a more clear view on what to do.

Some of the things I would do may include:
more lotto tickets
real estate
shares
donate to charity
financially secure my family & relatives
party hard for a couple of weeks with friends
world backpacking - spending months (or years) at a time in different countries

They may say "Money can't buy happiness"
But I think it would come pretty close to it....

Retire on the Gold Coast (Australia)
Not only would you get one of the best surf beaches in the world,
but you would end up with a quarter more money with the exchange rate (about US$0.75 = AU$1.00)
lol

quit my job, build a nice house on a lake, have nice vehicles, have nice clothes, travel, pay off my parents and sisters homes and give them money to travel, My husband and I would travel all over and have a wonderful time and live happily ever after but then we will do that anyway.
