Beacuse I was told that my computer was being loud because I needed to dust my computer out, but I can't open it!

dell is wierd with how they open. The one i have worked with opens like a hinge in the front. So just use the releases in the back and gently pull the shell apart

Look on the back for an l shaped black knob on the left side facing the computer. Push down the knob and slide the side to the rear. Piece of cake. Be careful with that canned air around the processor. Blow sideways rather than down, and get the power supply good. Lot of boogers in there!

Push the black lever down to release the catch that holds the side panel locked in place. Then pull back on the side panel as you push down on the release lever. You're sliding the side panel back towards the rear of the case. Once you've pulled the side panel back it can be pulled away from the case.

This is from the Dell web site. Unplug the computer, remove the cover, ground yourself. Use canned air to dust things off in there.
