If it's an active window that you only want the shot of (rather than the whole screen), then holding down ALT before you press the PRT SC button will capture only that window.

Go to 'File' at the top of your screen then to 'Print' then 'ok' and it will print the page.
Or if its just am image on the screen, highlight it by dragging your mouse over the pic whilst holding down the left hand side, then when it turns blue then click the right hand side of the mouse and go to 'save image as' and put into desired folder.

There's a button on your keyboard called the "Prt Sc" key, a.k.a. Print Screen button. If you press it, it will take a screenshot of whatever's on the monitor. Then, just paste the image into your favorite image editor of choice (e.g. MS Paint, Photoshot, etc.) and you're good to go.

Press the PrintScreen button right above insert on the right side of the keyboard to the left of the number pad.
Then paste into Paint by pressing CTRL-V.
Then you can save it and email it or something!

Easiest and best: http://www.faststone.org/ The good part is you can size the frame and capture most any picture for icons, etc.
