No be glad to get it over and done with. AND! AND! GET THOSE CAMPAIGN ADS OFF THE T.V.
This has been the dirtiest, nastiest, meanest election ever. I am sick if it especially the Republican ads! They have sunk to a all time new low. It is enough to make me change my vote from Republican to Democrat

No, I always look forward to voting. It's so unusual to have someone actually ASK for my opinion! I am more than glad and proud to exercise my hard-won right, as an American, to vote.
But I do agree that the broadcasters are obnoxious about their coverage. I'd like to see a blackout of all news about the voting until at LEAST midnight of Tuesday so people understand that their one vote can make a difference. I have actually heard people say the next day: "Oh, I heard that such and such party was ahead by a big margin so I didn't bother to vote..."
I have to restrain myself from shaking these people and saying: "YOU may have made a difference, you knucklehead..."
As we used to say back in the 70's: "If you aren't part of the solution, then you are part of the problem". NOT voting is "part of the problem".
Be you Republican or Democrat or even "Independent" go out and VOTE on November 7. People have died (and are still dying)for YOUR right to do that.

No, I have faith in the American people , I know that they will not pay any attention to the BS the main stream media is spreading around. That being the case the Dem's don't have a chance. The people know that no matter what the Republicans are the best at handling the war on terror. If the Dem's win start sizing up turbans.

Yes, I dread Election Day as the media will start
reporting results before the voting in California is
even over and they may already have projected
certain candidates as winners, and that is not fair.
Nothing is fair any more with the media, except the
"fair and balanced" Fox channel.

It really doesn't matter what happens. There will be legislative gridlock with veto's, filibusters and every dirty trick you can imagine. There will be no new significant legislation for the next two years. The Democrats will face nothing but Republican obstinacy in their legislative agenda, just like the Democrats gave them for the last decade. Its should be a couple years of shear bliss as congress will be effectively neutered and kept out of the pockets and lives of the American people.
The only circumstance that would be better is if they were all to be replaced by effective leadership and actually make changes that help Americans, and that won't happen

I liked lucky2balive's answer. I agree.
Anyways, what's to dread? You guys make such a big deal out of everything. If there weren't any political parties, just good, decent people running for office, our country would be so much better.

Why would you try to fill Americans with dread. People should look with pride towards voting, the right to vote and protecting the vote.
Many Americans are out there right now working hard to protect this Democracy. You should join them.

Not really. What will be will be . I hope the republicans win but I will not hold my breath. If the dems do win they have better make things better or the republicans will take over again in 08.

H*ll yeah because I think the candidates that are running suck and no matter which one you vote for were screwed and not in the way you like. Quiet frankly I am tired of getting harassed from the candidates calling and sending bull grab mail.
