After Kerry's ridiculous remarks, noticed he canceled his travel plans today b/c he doesn't want to ruin the already difficult chance the Dems have of winning back Congress. America is outraged at Kerry remarks, (don't believe me look at the headline news). Majority of the soldiers have diploma's or college degree's. And to say that if you are dumb you will be in Iraq. Today's military is so high tech we can no longer afford "dumb soldiers" in the armed forces. So Dems to make this simple for you guys do you or do you not agree with Kerry's remarks?

Remember Kerry's remarks were the following, "you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. "And if you don't, you get stuck in Iraq,"
Notice I'm not talking about Kerry's whole speech, just that particular part that is causing so much anger.

Kerry just wrecked his political career. He doesn't deserve to be commander-in-chief with that kind of an attitude. The funniest remark about Kerry's remark was made by Dick Cheney. "I guess we didn't get the nuance. Actually, he was for the joke before he was against it."

What Kerry said was obviously wrong. ing said that I think he was refering to BUSH not to the soldiers. It came out not as planned. but in politics you live and die with your words and I am not condoning it. However it is quite obvious that the republicans and especially Bush has made a joke of this country.
They were sofocused on Clinton's extra marital affairs but all the illegal things they do, including steaing an election was hidden to perfection.
At least during Clinton times any of us could say we are AMERICANS with pride while traveling, now we are faced with hatred. It takes a real genious to take a country that was so popular and was so loved and cared for especially after Sep. 11 to be hated this much.
BUSH needs to produce results. And he has not produced a result onanything.
The terrorists were mainly Saudis. But he can not do anythign to do Saudis because they have 8% of the American economy. Not only that but he has a lot of businesss interests with those countries.
Bin Laden and Taliban were targets somehow thay always got away. But he made Saddam the bigger issue. Not to say Saddam was good, but it is not America's business. hey are not the polcie of the world. And many innocent people American and Irqi are dying as a result. Bush is trying to play the Kurds, Turmens and te Arabs against each other for his own ideologies of controlling oil.
Economy obviously s horrible. Crime is up. Education is getting worse. But none of these can get addressed. But he thinks building a 70 mile wall on a 1,700 mile border is the key to success. GREAT!
When the democrats take the government back in the next election it will be a hard task to reoved all the mistakes of the past 8 years.
Also the American PResident should be articulate and an incredibly intelligent person. Bush struggles prononuncing several words, and he does not lok that intelligent when simple questios are ven to him to answer if he does not have a re-written script in his hand.
Bring the Democrats in better yet bring anyone but BUSH - CHENEY company that are suking every American's blood. Let s be realistic. Bush already showed how much he cared about Americanlives when he continued to read a book to he children when he heard about Sep 11 Now we are questioning Kerry' comments. Lets say they are bot wrong. but doesnt change the fact that a change is imminent and is a MUST.

Why hasn't Lincoln Chafee, Rick Santorum, George Allen or Mike DeWine invited the President to come stump with them?
Convicted felon Bob Ney resigned from Congress yesterday (FINALLY). Is he not fair game?

I agree with Kerry remarks because they were a botched joke. Don't forget, what he's repeatedly said it was supposed to be and what anyone who actually thinks about it for more than a second was "you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. And if you don't, you get -US- stuck in Iraq"
Note the: us.

You watch too much O'Rielly and listen to too much Rush and/or Hannity. He was attempting a joke in which he omitted the word US by accident he wasn't slamming our troops he was attempting to slam Bush by insinuating ( a big word if you have to look it up)he was stupid and you know what even though he muffed the joke Bush didn't disappoint, Bush Co. went into full on smear not even able to admit that kerry just called him stupid. So either Bush is so stupid he believed Kerry was talking about our troops or He was so stupid he didn't know he was just called stupid. And you wanna be just like him don't you?

Ok! Back to Kerry. Get over it. He misquoted what he was supposed to say. Besides, all the educated people you speak of should now know, as the rest of us do, what he was supposed to say. If you read properly what he was supposed to say, it had NOTHING to do with the soldiers.
Get over it!

I listened to his remarks and it seems to me he was saying that an all-volunteer army makes for smarter troops. Don't really get the outrage. Making something out of nothing is just another right-wing political tactic.
