How do I get my address bar to appear?

My mate was using the internet and he has somehow turned of the address bar. I had to get to this site through favourites.
Ive tryed Clicking view, toolbars, address bar and it still doesnt come up.

That's the way to do it. You might also check under Explorer's options.

That's the only way I know how to do it, so good luck. You can right click on internet explorer and check address bar, but it is pretty much the same thing.
