There is one thing for sure. There should always be a paper vote. There is no way to verify results without one. Do not use a ballot with chads, just a plain piece of paper. with a hole punched in it. That eliminates the BS we all suffered during the 2000 election. Next, the ballots should be counted right there, With representatives from both parties present. Not allowed by law to be moved. And finally, All voters must present a voter I.D. That would resolve most voter fraud.

i describe the the electronic voting machines as a joke ,a disgrace, and a insult to the American peoples intelligence.the fact that we are using these machines when they can be hacked and the results altered is absolutely inexcusable.i blame myself and the rest of the people in this country for not marching in the streets and demanding our votes be counted safely and securely.its time we stop the politicians from screwing us.it makes me sick that our country has gotten to the point that we are even discussing that we have to worry about are vote being stolen from us.we should demand better of our politicians.we deserve at least that from the people that we elected.

The Democrats will say they are "RACIST". How dumb.
The machines are quite easy and the Judges at the polling
place will make sure you know how to use them. All votes
will be counted, and they can't be tampered with as there
is a Democrat and a Republican with the machines from
the time they are turned on until they are returned to the
Clerk's Offices.

This is how some votes were counted in 2000:
"According to The Wall Street Journal, in the 2000 general election
an optical-scan machine in Allamakee County, Iowa, was fed
300 ballots and reported 4 million votes. The county auditor tried
the machine again but got the same result. Eventually, the machine’s manufacturer, ES&S, agreed to have replacement equipment sent. Republicans had hoped that the tiny but heavily Republican county would tip the scales in George W. Bush’s favor, but tipping it by almost four million votes attracted national attention. “We don’t have four million voters in the state of Iowa,” said Bill Roe Jr., county auditor".

Another bit of info: One machine counted 100,000 votes where 50,000 votes were cast. Read more at the link below. I don't even trust that my absentee votes will be counted. In some areas, they are counted by machine. Give me PEN and PAPER, please, and I'll be happy to help hand count them.
