Is it worth $1400 I upgraded it with the best graphic card and processor, or so they told me is it worth it?

It's worth it. I brought a Dell laptop about a year ago. It's actually what I'm using to type this answer right now.
I have never had a problem with my Dell. There are many more computers out there that do the exact same thing and have the same features that can easily cost $1000 more than what you paid for yours. Dells are good computers and they are a reasonable price for everything that they have.

How much memory, how big hard drive, what type optical drive?
$1400 sounds about right for the system.

Only if you think it's worth it-obviously you do so,yes, it sounds like a good system-have fun.
