caffeine raises blood pressure which helps the aspirin or acetaminophen or what ever the painkiller it is in get through your body faster. Granny always said to take your aspirin with a coke. Also if you normally consume caffeine, you'll get a headache if you don't have it. BTW, lots of people think they have migraines, but they may really be tension headaches.

I found that using an ice pack along with you
pain reliever of choice {aspirin, Advil, Tylenol& ect.] and a good quiet place to sit or lay is an
affective way to treat your migraines. Be good to yourself and don't get up set so easily and
you will be just fine.

Yes, that's why Excedrin Migraine works it has caffeine in it. Unfortunately caffeine causes "rebound" headaches they will come back worse than the original.

yes i believe so, i have read many different places that you can overdose on caffeine one of the symptoms being headaches....I have severe migraines as well....and also go through about 10 to 12 12oz cans of soda a day, I am pretty confident that it has a great deal to do with my headaches.

Yes. That's why there is caffeine in Excedrin and now they can market Excedrin Migraine (which is the same as regular Excedrin).

yes it does and there are pills for migraines that combine aspirine and caffeine. also you can get a head ache from caffeine addiction.
