I used to not care because I had no life. Now I really care and worry about it too because now I appreciate my life and don't want to loose it. You value your life, you are smart, just don't waste your precious time worrying. Enjoy every moment, the blue sky, the fall trees, the taste of something you like, the smile of a stranger. You are on the right track, you know your life matters, now choose to live it well.

It scares you because you have never done it before. If you were at the age you are now, and wanted to ride a ferris wheel, for example, it would probably scare you. But, there is good news; the older you get, the less frightening it becomes, or so I am told. So, cheer up!!!! Life is about the "right now". Not what is to come, when it comes to death. Enjoy and celebrate the life you are living.Good Luck!!!

Stop thinking about death or the end of the world. You'll never see either of them. You'll only see yourself alive and in an alive state. You'll never see yourself dead or the end of the world. Relax and live life. Experience joy. Itis the meaning.

you sound a bit depressed
Death is a part of living...it is like a season... make each day count with few regrets... and when you die.. you just don't become invisable... you live on in the memory of someone else.... and it makes you important to them and to their life...
You can't avoid it ... so face it and rejoice that you have a chance to do good in this crazy world... make a difference in someone elses life and just live like there is no tomorrow.. besides when you die... we will all be there answering just another set of questions... we'll meet again..I promise
Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
So enjoy it

It sounds like you might be preoccupied with death and dying. These thoughts could indicate that you're depressed and in need of professional help. You might try to first talk to your family physician to see if he/she could prescribe an antidepressant medication and/or refer you to a good mental health therapist for psychotherapy.
Best of luck.
Cheers!

most people fear death because it's so uncertain. No one can tell you what comes after. People are not sure if there is anything else.
don't worry about it - You can't change things and you will pass on when it's time. No sooner - no later

Because it is the only aspect of your life you can't control. You will never know when and how it will happen. And, if you have any faith (religion) you can't imagine how is the other side.
In my opinion the only way to win your scare is found in faith.
