Mean people :
As far as I understand it God gave us "free will".
So when we're mean, most of the time we "choose" to be so....we can also choose NOT to be mean. (let's face it : we all shout about free will, and "freedom of speach", and see how people abuse that right.)
I think God doesn't do anything about that during our lifetime, but we will appropriately suffer for it after death, as God sees fit.
Sadness :
Many people who really are able to believe in God (and I mean any God, be it the one the Catholics pray to, or Allah, a Hindi God, and however many more Gods there are) DO believe they get help from God during their sadness!! They really feel that through prayer God helps them.
I'm a Catholic, and I DO believe in God....unfortunately I have not reached the above stage yet....and I admit to being a little bit jealous of the people who have a really strong believe.
Injustice :
Same as for mean people.

I think God would try to make a difference if there was an injustice. If you have sadness try to do something to take your mind off of it. If it is someone else try to make them feel better. If it is mean people tell someone, try to avoid thm as much as possible or stand up for yourself.

about mean people - he would forgive them if they were truly sorry no matter what they did, but if they werent sorry and they did something truly terrible, then he would punish them, like he punished the people with the flood (noahs ark) after they disobeyed him.
about sadness - he taught people how to find the light and have faith in themselves, and to find trust--he guided them to the road of happiness, to find joy
injustice - He taught people to have faith in him and believe in him, and know wrong from right. he taught them what they should do, and how to achieve their goals. basically he forgave people who were unjust and helped and supported them....
Hope this answers your question.......

GOD won't do anything about them - he's on a celestial fishing trip, and he's waiting for us to finish with what we're doing before he comes back and sees how we turned out..
THEN there'll be hell to pay.

Since god doesn't exist, does the question then become what would you do?Or more precisely, ( what have you done?).

Apparently, He's done nothing about it. All 3 of those are still running rampant in the world...
