I am 38 weeks pregnant...I didn't take to to induce labor...I didn't know it would but now I have a lot a tightening in my belly and some cramps.

Yes it will and please don't do it if it's not time for your baby to be born, My sister in law did it and the baby was born to early and it has a lot of problems not to mention being a small baby at only 4 pounds, SO PLEASE DON'T DO IT! THIS BABY WILL PAY FOR IT EVERYDAY.

I was dialated at 1 for a week and a half then i was dialated to 4 for 2 weeks and i was having what they call practice contraction and then the doctor said if you have sex to leave the sperm inside you for 15-30 min with your bottom proped up the sperm acts as an enducer it will speed up you labor
