spiders frightens me. even bees. Been stung once and was attacked a couple of times by the bees. I am scared of insanely vicious rabid dogs. I'm scared of disembodied voices when i am alone. Yourei (Japanese vengeful spirits) but i love reading and watching them as well.
also what else scares me in films is not surprises *Just jolts me but in a good way* not qruesome masks or psychos chasing after another with a knife. What scares me is something that shouldn't be there (Ghosts) bloody eyes staring at you. psychological fears is what i liked best.
what sounds that can scare you? like when you can hear people talking on the TV or radio and then it suddenly distorts and becomes lower and louder. when something begins speaking then says it right in your ear.
another question: when it comes to writing a horror story, should the scary sound be simply written or effected like "zzzzzttt.." like static on tv? which does sound scarier?

i am scared to death of mice...cant stand them...when i was young we lived on a farm. we were in the garden and i felt something brush against my leg...i looked around thinking it was a weed or something and i didnt see anything....then i felt it again, like near my thigh....not seeing anything again-- i looked down into my pants and seen two beady eyes looking up at me...i screamed and kicked up my leg and the mouse went flying out the bottom of my pants....i was petrified...to this day, if i go walking in the woods or in a field i make sure the bottom of my pants are stuck into my socks or wear sweat pants with the elastic on the bottom....
