I think it won't. Lita is giving Edge a bad image in the WWE. Now EVERYONE hates him except ME! Also, she is getting fat and I don't Think Edge likes fat girlz. But the two r really going out though. Jeff Hardy had an interview in WWE MAGAZINE and he told us abouut EVERYTHING! Matt came to his house nearly crying and Matt told him about the affair and he called Edge and Lita and told them he hated them for what they did.

Their real life Fling ( i wouldn't call it a relationship ) was over a long time ago, be for Matt Hardy came back from his injury. Edge and Lita were on the road, missing their respective others and just kinda had an affair, which I know Lita (and probably Edge, as well) regrets now.
Now the storyline Edge and Lita will be ending soon. Lita's contract is up soon and she doesn't want to resign stating that she was other interest to pursue, (acting and her band). Most people think, however that she is sick of the character she has to portray on TV now. She was never happy with how the real life affair end up as a storyline on TV, and a year off being called a sl*t and whore would take a toll on anyone.

Their real life activities were very short lived and had actually ended during the Edge-Kane feud, before Matt returned.
Edge has been trying to get his second wife back
Lita--- I haven't heard anything about her love life.
Matt has been dating Ashley almost since he arrival on SD!
If rumors of HBK turning heel w/ Edge and RKO and Bischoff being their leader as a New nWo @ Cyber Sunday are correct. then Lita could be spun off solely into the women's division before the end of the year, where she can ride out her contract.

That was over ages ago in real life but Vince still likes the storyline. Come on Eddie's dead and they won't let him go. Why wouldn't they exploit the living as well.
