C for sure.
My but didn't this question get some folks hot and bothered.
May I point out that yes the plants are using the co2. Meanwhile, we silly homo saps are, while busily pumping hydrocarbons and co2 into the atmosphere, blithely burning down, chopping down and otherwise doing away with rain forests in South America. We are also draining swamps in Florida and filling them in to build houses, hacking down forests in Africa and other countries for the same reason. All that means less of those nice green plants to absorb all that CO2.
Now it is possible that we are just in a between glaciation warm spell. But even if we are, there is still the possibility of pushing that warm up over the edge into something we might not be able to survive.

The re is not enough info to tell what is happening. a is ridiculous because organisms have always been evolving. The sun is not getting hotter, it has been performing the same nuclear fusion process for millions of years, carbon dioxide is taken in by the plants and is a heavy gas which will not be high at all. It is the water vapor that leads to the greenhouse effect, think of a greenhouse. Plenty of plant taking in the carbon dioxide. the ozone layer is slowly rebuilding, but not that fast. It took million upon millions of year to get our initial layer so 10 - 20 years of "healing" is absurd. As for the guy who said that the question should be IS increasing is a moron. The years that we have of temperature data is basically nothing to predict a trend. The Earth is almost 5 billion years old. If you must make a choice, than c, because the other 3 are definately not true and c has 'might be'.

The answer is (C). It should read the temperature of the Earth IS increasing.

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. For an extreme example of how greenhouse gases make a planet hot, look next door to Venus.

There is no green house effect caused by CO2. U don't believe me go measure it. there is almost no CO2 in our atmosphere the GREEN Plants are doing a great job. If there is almost no CO2 in the atmosphere there is no global warming. GO AND TRY TO MEASURE IT . CO2 is a heavy gas and be easy to measure it right on the ground.

e. the earth's temperature has always been changing; it is merely continuing to change, and the factors behind the continuous change in our planet's climate are too numerous and complex to pinpoint with any confidence of accuracy
