There aren't a lot of options for you at the moment. You're too young for most legal ways of earning money that would allow you enough flexibility to take good care of your self untill the baby arrives. Child support is based on the father's income so if he is as youg as you are you won't get much if anything. Maybe you could make crafts and sell tham at a farmer's market. Babysit for others, do some light house cleaning for friends and neighbors, walk dogs. Hope these ideas at least help. Good luck.
PS. Don't let anyone make you feel any worse than you already do about having a child at such a young age. It's not the end of the world but it will be the hardest thing you ever did if you are trying to be a good parent. Other answers have suggested selling yourself in order to make money. Keep in mind that it is illegal on many levels since you are a minor, and that your child will ask about what you do eventually. Is that something that you will be proud to tell your child? Also remember that social services is there to help you, but it is a stepping stone, not a true answer to the problem. I hope your parents are willing to hellp you and offer support for you. You will need them in the coming years more than you ever have before. Be open, be honest and remember that your child is now your FIRST priority and responsibility. GL

First thing. . . FINISH SCHOOL. Regardless of what else you do, finish school. Second go to Social Services and find out how they can help. Make SURE the father is held financially responsible (regardless of his age. . . the legality of paternity MUST be established). He MUST support his child by law. The job thing. . . get one (as you can while providing child care for the baby) AFTER six months or more (staying IN SCHOOL all the time). Work at McDonald's or Wendy's or someplace like that to get some good job training, then when you graduate high school you will have experience to move up to a higher paying job. The father MUST help financially (or his family should) until you are out on your own (which will probably be in your 20s or later).
This major is going to cost you your childhood (teenage years social events), your time, and produce a lot of frustration and loneliness. The baby, however, should provide years of joy. You will need SERIOUS parenting training and counseling. If you have a pastor/priest start there and have him/her suggest appropriate counselors to help you with your child.
Good luck. . . I'll be praying for you.

well..go to your human services office (can call info to find out where it is) file for pregnancy medicaid (pays for EVERYTHING...doctor visits, delivery, prenatals...everything) (so you can save money there)....also apply for food stamps while you are there (on the same form as the medicaid..just read..that way you can save money on food)....then go out and get a job um...being that you are 15 you might have some trouble...so if I were you I would go to the places that I knew were hiring...and I would ask to speak to the manager or whoever the person was that does the hiring and explain that you are 15 but that you are currently pregnant and blah blah blah...other wise...I would go to the pawn shop and pawn some of your un valubles....and penny pinch....until you are 16 (the age most business will hire), also if your babys father is not going to be around make sure you get child support so you can have some help....better to start looking into that now so you have all the facts...if he is going to be around...then it is also his responsibility to help out with money..good luck and I am glad that you are mature enough to keep your baby..if you ever need any more advice or just want to chit chat you can email me..good luck.(ashleereagan06@yahoo.com)

Wow! At such a yougn age you are about to have a baby. Well, I suggest that if you are still in high school, do work in high school. While you are in high school, the best job for you is probably at Mc Donalds and those other fast food restaurants. But if you dont want to work there, you can work at Walmart, even though it is the worst place to work in, but at least you are not working at a fast food resaturant like Mc Donald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, and all the other ones.

well, for starters you need to finish school and get some sort of higher level of education otherwise I think that your moneymaking days are over. good luck on that one. maybe you should try to find a sugar daddy becuase chances are you have no idea how the real world works when it comes to jobs and careers (I say this becuase you have to go onto yahoo answers to ask how to make money)
congrats on your upcoming baby and hope everything works out for you.

Get a job!
By the way, so many people on here are going to moan on and on at you about how teenage pregnancy is wrong and all that crap. Like really, dont listen to them. I got my girlfriend pregnant at 16, and when i came on here asking for helpall i got was rubbish about how sex out of wedlock is wrong and how my kid was going to have a terrible life. Trust me, if you want to give it a good life, you can and you will. Dont listen to anyone on here who tries to make u think otherwise.

Apply for a job. They cannot discriminate against you because you are pregnant. Take your maternity leave, and go back to work. You are going to need the help of your parents, or baby's father. You can also apply for state assistance to help you.

I take it you're going to keep the baby. It will be hard to find a job at your age. Most good jobs will want a high school diploma. Good luck, I do hope you have lots of family help.

You seem to have internet access. Perhaps while you are pregnant and also while your child is young you could work from home. There are companies who require people to make phone calls from their own home and you are reimbursed for the calls and recieve a wage. Have a look.
Also, definetly try for child support.

ok for starters not get pregnant when you're 15, but that's just a thought. You can't get a job at 15 you have to be 16 to work unless a parent or guardian signs a wavier that you can work.
