For me, no. For some people, may be. I've seen a program on TV where they show a temple built to worship rats (I think it was India).

If it was not a pet rat then it is not even close to killing a dog. If it was a pet then it is on the same level, they are both living animals and loved by someone.

Depends where you are when you kill either one. In some cultures rats are highly worshiped, same as dogs in some. But both are considered food in other places, and pets in others.

Rats hold a special place in MY heart. I have four of them! Hey, both rats AND dogs can be nuisances. It depends on who you ask. Me, I say it is just as bad.

Well, for some people it may be, but rats are considered nuisances by many people. Dogs just hold a special place in most of our hearts! :-)
