I live in LP michigan, and election is coming. i want granholm to win for governor. she hasnt done well, in the past. but she has alot more plans for our state, and... devos... well, hes not as good. he said he has no plans, but he hopes one will come up by january... who do you want to win? please give all reasons. THANKS!!!

I wonder if this will be a UP/LP election? This is my first year in Michigan (I'm from California) so I don't feel I should vote yet. I'm not as familiar with the local issues as I should be to vote responsibly. I do know in Cali elections tended to split between So. Cal and No. Cal. Republicans would win in So. Cal and Democrats in No. Cal. Meant the governor almost never got anything done because we had a divided congress!
Maybe future respondents could mention if they were from the UP or the LP, please. Just for my curiosity.

I live in Michigan and I'm voting from Granholm. You're right about her not doing too well in the past but I agree with some of her beliefs and she's the only one I've seen who's political ads actually talk about what she's going to do in the future. I've seen nothing but attack ads from Devos.

I am voting for Granholm. I think her first term has suffered from holdover problems from the previous administration. I hope she can get the economy rolling.
DeVos is another scion of big business/big money and buds with the Bush/Cheney team and so scares me.

vote for granholm, she has been hobbled by other issues that were not her fault, it will take time to turn things around in MI, i know how hard it can be, i used on live in OH...keep up the good work in MI!!!
