Or will the Iraq war still be going on?

Look, the Bush people already know they screwed the pooch in Iraq, so their only hope is to run down the clock and handoff to what will inevitably be a Democratic president. That president will have no choice but to extricate him/herself from the steaming pile of dung left in Baghdad.

Then, the GOP will re-write history (in their usual, creepy Orwellian way) and it will forever be re-told as the Dems losing Iraq, thus insuring that Repubs keep possession of the (American) flag.

I am just cynical or what?

The candidates will probably promise to clean all the cheese off the moon. So what! All of this Bull about messes but has anyone actually come up with a better solution? Remember all of the people from both sides of the aisle that was with Bush when we went into Iraq. Easy to criticize but not easy to lead. The US military leader in Iraq says that our politics are making the job harder. Maybe we should listen to the professional soldiers and support their effort. But that would make us a stronger country and Bush Bashers don't want that. Think about it.

That will be one tough job to do. It's going to take more than the next few presidents to clean up everything that this monster administration has created.
The Iraq war will not end with the 2008 election. We will see what the verdict will be for Saddam, and we must pay close attention to what that verdict does to the insurgency problem. I think that's why the ones in power at the moment are begging us to stay where we are. So they don't have to rely on their own ineffective military to keep order.

We will still be in Iraq in '08 as far as I can see. And the Democratic candidate will obviously be ranting about reversing everything Bush has done in his two terms, and it's hard to tell what the Republican candidate wil do.

I personally think no politician will be able to clean up Bush's mess and yet the war in Iraq will still be there and terrorist will still attack regardless if U.S.A. started any war or anything to cause the terrorist to do harm to U.S.A. and to the world. The problem is we have on this planet too many bullies who think they can dictate people's freedom to live a peaceful life to enjoy.

As long as the current group of idiots are in office then yes we will still be in Iraq. It's going to take a lot of shoveling s*** to clean up Bush's mess but only a good democrate can do that. For all you conservatives reading this please remember-NO ONE DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED!!!!!!!

Conservatives choose the U. S. to interrupt down. Had McCain gained, the U. S. might have collapsed previous due in 2009. the rustic does no longer exist immediately, and McCain could have been the final president.

We stay until the job is done. I think we should thank Bush for cleaning up the mess that Clinton ignored.
