Simple little partythink automitons say things like "he didnt mean what he said, he really meant it about Bush even though he didnt say it about Bush, he said it about alll US Servicepeople".

People say things for a reason, and if you watched the footage of Kerry's now infamous speech, you see him walking around and improvising ... not reading from anything.

I love it when politicians tell us what they really think and have the most respect for those who do. When you have nothing to hide, you have no problem winging it, and speaking from the heart.

So, as much as I loathe Kerry and all who apologize for his outrageous insult of US Servicepeople, I am oddly left with a mild degree of respect, that I never had before. You can loath a person and still respect some aspect of them.

Kerry's record is no mystery. He has been counter-culture since his overtly beatnick days. Like most leftists, he has hatred for American culture...and I dont think hes the extreme end at all.

Like many leftists, Kerry believes himself to be culturally elite.

His comments were a classic Freudian slip: He meant every word of what he said and it was directed towards the military.

You can't discount his previous slights against our Armed Forces and remain honest. The man has a history of slamming our service members.

I'm not defending Kerry becuase personally I think he's an idiot. However, if you look at the numerous reports, everyone knows that he botched the joke. And if you look at the statement he was supposed to make...it had no reflection on the troops.

"I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."

I personally think he should have kept his mouth shut, but whatever.

It's well over 48 hours since the comment was made, and since the 'what he was supposed to say' came out. Let's get off the smear wagon and move along people. We have more important things to be concerned with.

Pulleeez...he was trying to make a wisecrack about Bush. As in Bush being proud of being a C student. So, Kerry isn't a comedian...but I'll bet he's a lot smarter than Bush.

Don't you think it's funny that it took two draft dodgers - Bush & cheyney, to call out attention to what a decorated war hero said?

"People say things for a reason, and if you watched the footage of Kerry's now infamous speech, you see him walking around and improvising ... not reading from anything."

Your words... apply that to the following Bush quotes:
"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." --George W. Bush, interview with CBS News' Katie Couric, Sept. 6, 2006

"Anybody who is in a position to serve this country ought to understand the consequences of words." --George W. Bush, interview with Rush Limbaugh, Nov. 1, 2006

"I will not withdraw, even if Laura and Barney are the only ones supporting me." --George W. Bush, talking to key Republicans about Iraq, as quoted by Bob Woodward

"We're never been stay the course, George." --George W. Bush, attempting to distance himself from what has been his core strategy in Iraq for the last three years, interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, Oct. 22, 2006

This is going to get long if I keep going so I hope you just get the point.

That respect is the same that comrades from both sides of a war feel, ask a vet its true, even if they killed thier enemy there is a deep respect, but yeah thats the problem with the left right now, they have no views that are positive or visionary, they left there best last candidate to die in Dallas and havent found anyone in thier party that can even come close to dealing with serious issues and speak their mind 'cause there's no hidden agenda

No. That replaced into taboo. to boot, Kerry replaced into OUT of the defense force while he headed Vietnam Vets against the war. the circumstances have been very different. The temper of the rustic replaced into fairly grotesque and he had a numerous help. the rustic replaced into fairly divided, the extra youthful against the previous. Following this I undergo in concepts candle easy ceremonies in parks all over the rustic...all and sundry feared the draft call, all and sundry. college replaced into no protection internet and that's while the noise have been given louder and the scholars went wild. there have been different subject concerns taking place besides with civil rights et. al., and that replaced into even uglier. they relatively have been poor circumstances and that i desire you by no skill see the likes of those days ever lower back.
