Planning to get a IBM 770 but in my room the internet uses ethernet cable but the IBM 770 one of the old machines doesnt have ethernet point but it does have a USB point? any idea wht to do

the ibm 770 has a pc card slot you can purchase and install a pcmci ethernet card giving you network access.

You can use an ethernet PCMCIA card as indicated in one of the previous answers, or you can use an ethernet USB adapter. Either will cost about $30 to $35.
