Bill of Rights question?

Why did Federalists first oppose the addition of a bill of rights? Why did most Antifederalists believe such a bill was absolutely necessary?

The Bill of Rights limits the power of the federal government.

Anti-federalists feared a strong central government and felt that the Bill of Rights curbed the power of the federal government.
