Is there a way to restore scandisk to Win 98?

Running Win 98 and scandisk will not run. Is there a way to restore it?

Try doing it in safe mode restart ur computer tapping f8 choose safe mode only a guess havnt used 98 for many years

pop in the floppy in start the pc whrn it comes to the a prompt type in scandisk /all
