Yes, I thought that was a whacky conspiracy theory, but then I measured his character over his handling of the Kursk disaster, the Beslan school, the war in Chechnya, Russian arms sales in Africa, oppression of religious groups (Catholics, evangelists, Muslims), bullying of Ukraine, Latvia and Georgia, and now the shooting of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
