That happens to a lot of people, it happens to me a lot too, but maybe you just have something bothering you... or something is happening like a friend is moving away .

Bad days now and then is normal but... sobbing for hours and not knowing why is not normal. You really should see a therapist and explore the idea that you may be clinically depressed. Meds can help balance things for you while talk therapy can help you sort out your feeling and learn positive ways to deal with life.

And quit listening to sad music.

Whenever I have a bad day, I drive downtown and notice so many people worse off than I am. Hey, I don't need a walker to get around. I don't need one of those oxygen tubes to breath with. I see so many worse off, I count my blessing for being as well off as I am.

Sad music? I have some really good music. Write me and I'll send you some. Good music from the 80"s --

Yes why do you do this?
I have found that many poetry and music come from sadness, maybe is because we need to feel in some way peace inside, and sadness is the closest feeling we have.
Advice: Try with classical music, is peaceful but not sad.

Well, your probably a women. So you must realize that women are just designed differantly and are by nature a more emotional creatures than men. My suggestion, is embrace whatever pain your feeling, whatever sadness that hits you. The more you ignore it the more you will become desensitised to it. But dont let it control you. Why do you do it, this i dont have the answer to. If your looking for that answer, get with God, or a counselor of some form. But smile, the sun will rise again tommorow!

Maybe it's just the way your body relieves stress. I have those days sometimes but I always get better.

Age has alot to do with it because of hormone levels. If you are pregnant that can do it to. Have your DR check your hormone levels. Go from there.
