Well there is not much to like about them.
they are obnoxious
They cause 25% of the worlds pollution and wont sign the kyoto protocol.
They start wars with other countries, usually ones with massive oil assets
Their president is a coc.k sucker
Probably because most of the world does and you are doing what feels right.
Its a shame they dont realise this. But, I guess they are too pre occupied with themselves

Isn't that like hating someone because of their skin color or their religion? So doesnt that mean you are racist? I think so. I don't know why you don't like them, have you met all of them, that seems very unlikely since they population went to 300 million thats October, is it because you dont like President Bush or because you think America went to war in Iraq for oil, because there are a lot of other factors but oil is known because OPEC raised prices sold less oil so that's a topic you hear. I dont know why you hate them so much but if you hate someone and you dont know why or you hate American's simply because they are Americans that is racist. And oh yea have you never heard of comedy central? Apparently not. The fact that we love war? Have you never heard the song "Give peace a chance?" OR all the protest's against war since the 60's I guess not. People need to understand that the people in government can not and does not portray everyone, and people say that America's media is false and gives them the wrong idea's how do we not know that our media is doing the same thing to us?

A lot of people hate Americans these days but lots of them are really nice people. It's kind of acceptable to hate Americans because they are at the top of the pile while hating Indians or Chinese peolple is considered wrong because they are financially poor nations. Personally I do not hate Americans, just the policies of the American government.

Some of them are OK. I've met some nice ones. I had an American lecturer at college who was great fun and my BF's manager's GF is American and shes lovely.
Although I have to say that a lot of them come over as being really insincere.
And I've also met some horrible arrogant big mouthed patronising ones who think they are the "Greatest Country on Earth" and the rest of the world is a tourist playpark for them.
They go on about being the Greatest Country on Earth and they don't evem provide their people with free healthcare for heaven's sake. They have to buy it like its a luxury.
And they are really greedy and only care about themselves and money thats why the hate socialism, because it means SHARING!
And they boast about having the "right to bear arms" even though millions of people get killed by guns over there every year and any idiot can wave a "piece" about and cause death and mayhem with it. Duh!
And they STILL think we all want to live there (not me thanks).
They come over here to Wales on their holidays and go round patronising us and tramping all over our castles and talking crap and waving their big wadges of travellers cheques around and complaining about the food and the weather. It gets on your nerves. The only good thing is they leave us massive tips because they don't know tipping isn't customary in the UK! Hehehe!!
Some of them are OK though. It depends how educated and welll informed they are. Its the pig ignorant redneck types who seem to the be the worst.

Because their leaders are propagating hatred all over the world.
The people are just normal humans. They cannot control the aspersions flung at them.
I would suggest that they are all leading quietly desperate lives as are we all.
