Sometimes yes and sometimes no. It depends on the RAM. If both machines are using the same type then you can do it, but more likely one is using the PC100-133 standard and one is using the newer DDR standard. Take the cards out of both machines and compare them side by side. If the interface is identical then you can.

Probably not, if your computer is too old then it won't be compatable..also all of your ram will run at the speed of the slowest ram installed.. Some old computers use SD ram which is a lot slower and totally incompatable with DDR ram, the newest ram is DDR2 ram, you don't want to mix and match the ram types, or even speeds because it will slow your whole system down, i recomend you check what the ram is in your new and old pc by speed and then work it out for yourself. But it's possible if they're compatable, even if the speeds are different..the faster ram will only run at the slowest ram's speed though.

read your new motherboard manual and go to RAM section and use only the supported type of RAM including the bus speed

if your old ram are not in type its wont work you may receive a peep error telling you that

Possibly. Check the website of the new computer and see what part number is required. Then go to your old computer and see if that what you've got.
