Especially anything in the Docklands area.

Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark (v old ship!) and the Maritime Museum. Depending on which day you go, there are sometimes food and antique markets in the area as well. You can get there on the Docklands Light Railway which everyone loves.

For a meal out try West India Dock (or is it quay?!). That's also on the DLR and has lots of bars and restaurants.

Further west, try The London Eye - a must do. And the Tower of London. At the moment Somerset house has an exhibition of Tiffany jewellery and you can skate in the courtyard.

If they are arriving before Christmas take them to Liberty in Regents Street for shopping - fantastic old dept store with a wonderful Christmas decorations shop. Try a west end hotel for traditional afternoon tea.

Avoid cliches like Madam Tussuards and Harrods which are frankly tacky tourist traps.

On Christmas day most things will be shut so you may want to stock up with grub from Fortnum and Masons or Marks and Spencers and stay at home with some board games!

Have fun! 8-)

There are some gorgeous churches in London and there should be some fine choral performances every evening of the holiday season, and most would be free -- save some money for shopping! Enjoy.

Take them too the main attractions of London, like the london eye..even just to see it and the big ben, but ask them if they want to first..they probably will.. if you've shown them before then just show them anything you haven't although you don't really need to show them too much, they are there to see you mianly.. and seeing London as a bonus.
