That the best artists usually think their work is awful?

Wow, I really don't know but I must be pretty darned good cuz I think any artwork I've attempted is awful!

depends most artist will go over their work with a fine tooth comb and think its garbage while the rest of us would enjoy it . artist are over critical of themselves as if the work makes who they are not them making it

Um... not really... some people can be really critical and their work suck... some people can be really laid back and their work rocks! Plus, the artist's opinion doesn't matter... It's the audiences' opinion that matter! :-)

yes one of my BEST friends, katie is an extremely good artist but she doesnt think so

It seems so, that the artists are so selfless, that they feel that the masterpiece that the entire world heralds, seem to be worthless to them.
