Is it possible to take songs off of your iPod if you are on a different computer? And if so how?

Yes it is possible. You need a simple program called iPod Access which you can download from download.com [ http://www.download.com/iPod-Access/3000-2169_4-10505012.html?tag=lst-0-1 ] It can be easily unlocked easily...see below.
