claim he was a draft dodger, yet 80% of the military supports Bush, and votes republican?

Does that make the liberals a bit hypocritical?

The libs are right - he avoided the draft. They just neglect to mention that he avoided the draft by joining the military voluntarily. This also explains their disdain for our current troops - they are the same kind of draft dodgers.

I suspect the brainwashing has something to do with the way they vote but i would suggest you read the editorial of The Army Times this week and also think why is it that So many Military Heros are coming back to the States from Iraq and running for Office as Democrats? Do you think the voting trend would be the same if Armed Forces Radio was made to include more than just Rush O'Rielly and Hannity and then as a sham at saying they're being balanced they add like what a half hour of an NPR program? So 8 hours of right wing brainwashing vs. 30 minutes of NPR yeah that's fair ain't it? It's like saying Alan Coombs is the loud mouth Liberal on Fox News he is Liberal yes..but he just sits there. you ask about Hypocrisy can you say Ted Haggard?

What's hypocritical about it?? Taking a look back through most of your questions you use the liberals as your "bogeymen" for everything. And I'd like to see your sources for 80% of the military supporting Bush and voting Republican. Don't make statements like this you can't back up.

No, it makes the 80% of the military that supports him idiots.

OK ... clearly, I am joking. I am trying to make a point here. Your
hypothesis doesn't fly in either direction.

If the only issue here was whether or not Bush actively served duty to
the military, then ... maybe. However, it is a far more complicated election
than that.

Stop trying to oversimplify. These are complex times - we don't need
decisions made by people who cannot understand that.

George Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard to avoid fighting for America in Vietnam.

"I am angry that so many of the sons of the powerful and well-placed... managed to wangle slots in Reserve and National Guard units...Of the many tragedies of Vietnam, this raw class discrimination strikes me as the most damaging to the ideal that all Americans are created equal and owe equal allegiance to their country."

Bush got a cushy stateside posting in the guard courtesy of his fathers (US Congressman at the time) poilitcal favor making. And from all records he didn't even fulfill the requirements of being in the guard.

... I suspect they vote Republican because they keep up and promote military spending... and promote active military policy...

it's like a teacher voting democrat...

it has little to do with someone being a draft dodger or not... it's "what have you done for me lately"...

Why don't you include the fact about the guard unit he was in. A lot of big shots had their kids in the unit it was never called up, would never have been called up. That's a big reason why.

Because he is pro military, but never went to war. Face it, he grew up a spoiled brat who rode his daddy's coat tail all the way to the top. Seems like his brother is also doing the same thing.

the liberals just can not understand the military does not forget how they were treated during the 70`s by liberals,80`s-90`s by clintons administration.so they try to bring down a president that really looks up to the and dose not insult them.
