A friend of mine took a tv from thre house i moved out of while it was waiting to be picked ip from rent way what happendwas i moved away quick and i could not afored to pay for the tv so they was suppose to pick it up but before they did he took it now the police have the tv and hes telling them i gave it to him now they want to charge me with stealing the t v and giving it away what do you think of this situation

That is a sad situation, unfortunately, you have to be accounted for the tv. Find the friend that took your tv and take it from him, if the police want the tv, give them the tv.

First hire a Lawyer. Then tell your Attorney exactly what happened. Offer to take a polygraph test to prove your innocence. And make a suggestion that your so called friend take one too.
