A lot of that depends on your style of living. I live very frugally, so I could be rich with $500,000 - $700,000, invested properly. And, I would definitely quit this #@$%@#$ job.
Now, on the other hand, my brother is already a multi millionaire, and he never will have enough money or property to feel rich. But, his lifestyle is such that he must continue to make a lot to keep what he has. His monthly mortgage payments is more than I make in about 6 months. So it just depnds on where you are coming from.
