Is their any bill, or act, or law that allows a student in high school to drop out? Is their any bill, act or law that doesnt allow a student to drop out? Anyting having to do with legal or rules would be greatly appreciated. This person in living in Indiana, if thats helpful.

Take her to a homeless shelter and show her where she'll end up.
My 19 year old daughter did the same thing at 16 and I dropped her off at the shelter and left her there. She graduated top of her class and is going to UCLA.

I'm not sure if there are any way of legally keeping her in school, but you may want to let her know about the consequences of dropping out (see first link below). You can also check the Indiana Department of Education website, and/or contact the local office if your question isn't answered on the site.

I live in Indiana and I'm pretty sure she needs a parental consent in order to drop out of high school.

no there isn't any rule,sorry. but try to encourage her to keep going. It should help. Maybe treat her to something that she likes, before asking her to carry on her work.

take her to a homeless shelter or make her be a garbage man for a day....that should get her back to school again
