Normally you would - but you might have very tight stomach muscles - don't worry.

You should feel some movements from 26 weeks onwards - about 10 a day (any less and you need to see your doctor or midwife to check things out).

They are not necessarily going to be "strong" - that all depends on different things - your baby's position, the position of the placenta, how much extra weight you are carrying, the baby's size etc.

I'm 35 weeks and have only really had "strong" movements in the last few weeks, although I started feeling some movement (subtle) at 16 weeks.

Baby's still not that big at 26 weeks so you're not necessarily going to get really strong movements even if someone else says they did.

Depends on the pregnancy. Feeling this baby grow inside of you is an amazing thing!! Feeling this baby move for the first time is probably one of the most amazing things that a mother will ever feel!! This even is called the quickening. This usually occurs during the second trimester, although, not always. Some have compared the feeling of a quickening to the feeling of gas. It didn’t feel like this to me, it was not painful. You will know it when it happens. With my firstborn, the quickening was normal, in the middle of the second trimester. With my second, my son, it was late. I wondered if it was ever going to happen! His quickening didn’t come till about 6 months, but then he never stopped moving after that. With my third, however, her quickening was in the first week of my third month. So early that the doctor rushed me to have a sonogram to make sure I wasn’t farther along than we thought. Nope, she just wanted to make her presence known as soon as possible!

It varies from person to person. I didn't really ever get strong kicks from my first child, I felt movement more. It all depends how they are lying and if they have a lot of space in the womb. He is quite a laid back child and probably couldn't be bothered to kick, whereas my second kicked loads and bless him he is a demon.

Don't worry every child is different and so long as your baby is moving it should be fine

No. If it's your first baby, strong kicks don't come along til much later. I was 25 weeks before I even felt a light movement with my first, yet I was feeling the same light movements at 16 weeks with my second.

It really depends, if this is your first child then generally kicks are felt later in pregnancy (not sure of no. of weeks) . But if you are at all concerned contact your midwife (that's whats she's there for).

Remember a watched pot doesn't boil (don't be too anxious, if you are relaxed the baby will be too)

yes they should peak around know, unless your baby is in a funny position. If you havent noticed any yet you should get checked over , do an extra ultrasound just in case or ring your midwife

yup!, at this stage, baby is about to flip into the birthing postion, head down, the science behind pregnancy says that the baby actually knows what to do and is testing his/her space and is preparing to flip. Good Luck
