I am about 11 weeks preggie with twins. I have a 2 year old and had a wonderful pregnancy, no sickness at all. With these babies I have been very nauseated and I constantly have nosebleeds with has never happened my entire life. Is this normal?

I just miscarried twins at 10 weeks 10.19.
Nosebleeds are assoicated with your pregnancy. Your bloodflow is 50% more than previously. Those small arteries in your nose are affected. Bleeds are common. Some say you have exaggerated symptoms with twins, I however did not. You may equate that to the (missed) miscarriage though. In the beginning, everything was exaggerated, as my pregnancy progressed things began to diminish. First sign of my miscarriage. Anyway, you sound pretty normal, if there is such a thing with pregnancy, lol..to be carrying twins. You havent stated anything here that would be cause to ring the alarm or be overwhelmingly concerned. I know that every twinge in pregnancy, we are concerned about but with twins, expect differences. Not only that, every pregnancy is different even with the same woman. You can't really compare this pregnancy to your last or with any future ones. They're all unique in their own right.
But to answer your question: Yes babe, it's all normal. Congrats.

Yes This is normal. They say nosebleeds happen due to increased blood volume. The nausea is probably due to the fact it is twins. More than one baby seem to make things even worse. Congrats!! I am on my 4th baby and no twins... even though my mom was a twin. Oh well. One at a time is good too. Enjoy this pregnancy even though it will be tougher than with your 2 year old.

Well aside from having your hands extremely full, I say carrying twins would probably take a lot out of you. Forget eating for two, you're eating for three! I have three children and each pregnancy was so different. So I wouldn't worry too much as long as you can function. Do you get sick in the morning, evening or all day? Before you get up in the morning try eat some saltine crackers in bed before you get up.Having an empty stomach can actually make it worse. If it's really bad you might want to talk to your doctor.

I have to agree, both pregnancies are kinda close together. Also in the NEJM, there have been studies that morning sickness is more prompted in girls pregnancies, search around the net. Stopping the nosebleeds?...try nasal spray, keeping the nasal passages clean and moist are important. Good Luck

Nosebleeds are because all your mucous membranes go all mushy with the pregnancy hormones (if you feel your cervix, you'll notice that's gone all mushy too, not firm and round like normal) and nasal congestion was one of my first symptoms. Saltines first thing before you get up really does help wih the nausea, weird, but true! Well worth trying.

Your hormones are close to double that of your first pregnancy, you are going to experience some different things with this pregnancy. Nose bleeds are common, as your blood volume increases, and your nasal passage swells slightly. You might also notice frequent sneezing.

yes. every pregnancy is different, even for the same woman. i only have one child, so i havent experienced it yet, but my aunt said that all 5 of her pregnancies were drastically different. ginger really helps with the nausea. nosebleeds may be because of your blood pressure, or you are anemic. ask your doc about it.

Yes. Sometimes when a woman becomes pregnant her body will react differently with each pregnancy. Best of luck to you and your growing family!

Nausea is normal but I haven't ever heard of having nose bleeds while pregnant. There is a possibility that the nose bleeds are associated to the dry fall air. You might want to talk to your dr about it.

potassium! devour tons of it. those cramps get means worse by way of out being pregnant, devour a banana day-to-day and get prenatal nutrients if you do not have already got them. whilst a cramp hits for the duration of the night time (and it's going to) slowly pull your feet up toward your head to stretch out the muscle. there are lots of pains you are going to revel in for the duration of being pregnant that you simply could under no circumstances have inspiration of, however they're all valued at it finally. i suggest "what to anticipate whilst you're anticipating" it's an informative resourse guide for brand spanking new mothers to be.
