I have suffered a work based accident, and am looking for a company to 'go with', but there are so many to choose from I don't know where to begin.

Does anyone have any personal experience good or bad to advise me?

If a no win no fee solicitor wants your case, you can be sure you are in a good legal position, also you can be sure they will make a packet, and probably more than you.
Why not have a chat with one (sign noting) then go to your boss if you can or union and advise them you are seeking legal advice but would like then the opportunity to respond to you before youinstruct someone.

It may depend on the nature of your injury and whereabouts you are based. Unless you need to see the solictor concerned, it may not matter where they are.

I can recommend from professional experience 'Bird & Lovibond' who are based in Uxbridge in Middlesex. I can also recommend 'Pinto Potts' who are based in Aldershot.

Both are PI specialist firms and both know what they are about. Both do CFA work and insurance work (if you have home contents insurance which covers you).

As a rule of thumb, go with the firm that someone can recommend. Ignore the ads on the telly, on the buses and in the hospital. You wouldn't buy a soap powder you see on the telly, why buy legal advice that way?

DO NOT go with the no win no fee companys they will take too uch of your compensation!!!

My boyfriend got his claim for £51,000 last month once they took their cut he was left with £32,000

Go with a company that PROMISES to take nothing from the money you are awarded
