It used to be Math & Science, since I was really good at it, was the top 3 students every semester, year, adn was representative of m yschool for competition. I guess it was really easy for me to grasp the subject and was very interesting. Most importantly, it was due to I had really good teachers for these subjects.
But then I hated these 2 subjects as i moved schools, and went to next grades, since different levels has different teachers, and I don't understand what the teachers was teaching, and it really annoyed me. So my interest in Science plummeted and Math deteriorated.
But fortunately still got good grades by managing to study on my own.
Now as I am older, I like speech class, hated political science, and any liberal arts class that has a lot of readings, writings, papers, etc
This is because: it was irrelevant for my major, & find it a real waste of time & money taking these courses (these subjects are just for general knowledge and lets me be a better person in one way or another)
And also I hate reading, and writing papers.
Basically, it all depends on the person, that will make you like the types of subjects.

Library Science was my favorite class. This was over 30 years ago and I went to a church school. Of course it was an elective, but among the required classes I think English Lit. was my favorite. Back then only one year of math was required, languages were electives and Chemistry was also not required. Biology was though and I did like that class.
This was from ninth grade to twelfth.

AP American History. My teacher was an ex-trader on the floor of the NY Stock Exchange and had loads of energy and passion. He was also the JV Football and Baseball coach, and knew how to motivate us to work harder and enjoy learning. He could turn every topic into a dramatic, exciting adventure in history! Regardless of the grades he gave us in the class, we all did well on the AP exam, even the Jocks!
Thank you, Coach Kitchen(AKA "The Colonel"). for teaching us how to think for ourselves!
