Girls usually aren't as agressive as guys. I don't think its okay for girls to play on a guys team when they are past grade school. Guys are way more rough. They are also bigger and usually run faster, are stronger and would have 'unfair' advantages over a girl in sports. Plus, it would really crush a guys self esteem to be 'beat by a girl'. Guys and gals should stick to their own teams.

Girl Guides will not allow boys in their outfit, Boy Scouts have to allow girls into their camps by law. Edmonton just went through a court case to allow grown women into the mens hockey league. These are two instances where the males have had to give way by force and law to the other gender.
It would be interesting to see what kind of a case we would have if the boys took a womans' club to court to force enrollement of males.
It is getting more and more difficult for the boys to get together. It is a need inherent for all males to bond in some form of competition with each other and when the other gender inteferes there is a subtle loss of the male companionship. This is depressing. It depresses a good many of the males and they cannot not say anything for fear of the backlash from the politically correct.
A lot of women don't understand that we boys would really like to "BE BOYS!!!". It's quite difficult to do that with the girls hanging about, and not much easier when the girls are actually on the team.
We boys engage mainly for the competition of the game.To men and boys the competition is the primary force driving us.Winning is in the cards thats true; but it is the competition that drives us. We use this in our jobs, our hobbies, our hunting, our social lives. When we need to vent for our frustrations (particularly these days of legislated morality) it most commonly comes out in our games. It is a neccesary form of anger management as well as a social form of companionship.
When the girls/women insinuate themselves into our games then we have an unwelcome interloper to take a part of ourselves from the game.
This is not good, I would say that no "girls and boys should not play together in sports". I would ask in frustration "WHY IS IT THAT WE BOYS CANNOT BE BOYS?".

Depending on the sport. Here we have had it that a mature girl insisted on playing hockey with the boys. Of course she needed her own dressing room which brought extra expenses along. Sometimes her mom insisted that she had to share the boys locker room so she could be an integral part of the coaching and per talk during intermissions. I think it is up to the girl, but please do not complain about locker room language. Boys are boys and girls are girls and they are NOT alike.

I think a lot of it depends on the age and the type of sports like i don,t think that girls should play against boys in football or soccer but may be base ball and volleyball are ok because they are not tackle type touch sports.

Us guys are very competitive and may accidently get too rough. I hate it when people are so pressed about a game and go off when things don't go there way. they get all up in your face. like "YOU FOULED ME!" I'll be like it was an accident, and they get an attitude. But personally I think guys and girls can play sports together. I've played many sports with girls, volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, badminton. There are girls that could kick my a** in a fight.

Because males an females are diffrent sorry but its true. Male in our species are in general bigger stronger an faster than females. So if you want to play any sport where these things apply it puts the males at a huge advantage.

my opinion is, the sooner this society intergrates the better that is, women should probably not be out on a football field with NFL players getting tackled, or in combat getting shot at, there are some things that women should not do, the football thing, i would think theres too much risk of getting hurt, if you think im wrong for that i respect that, there was a woman who was a kicker at the college level that really didnt work out, not her fault i dont think, didnt end in injury either, and the combat thing, if the woman is captured she is raped, and quite honestly, im just not comfortable putting women in that situation, im not really happy about war to begin with sorry, the intellectual cap again

To put it bluntly, guys are generally larger and more powerful physically than girls. No, this doesn't make guys superior overall, just stronger (and of course there are exceptions).
