I got a phone number from a girl the night before last that I'm really interested in, but each time I call I get a that "fast beep", like a busy signal, but 3 times as fast. I don't think it's a fake number, since we have mutual friends and will see each other again. I'm not looking for guesses, so if you don't know, please don't answer.

Also, please don't answer if you're just going to try to be a jerk and say, "it means she doesn't like you because you're ugly." That's a juvenile, dumb, and obvious joke. Factual answers only, please.

With a fast busy, your call might not have even made it to the target phone. There are multiple reasons for a fast busy, but the only way to find out is to have them trace your calls. The customer service dept. for your phone company is the place to start.

Ask them to open a ticket and explain why your calls are not terminating to the number. It will take them some time to trace it, so when you get your ticket #-----

1) write it down
2) ask for a phone number to call for ticket status updates
