Ouch... I would start with washing it with cool water.. then get a wash cloth wet with cold water and keep that on your face.. just cause it will feel good. Ggo to the pharmacy and get some burn cream. Hydrocortisone cream is good too. You might even be able to find a burn cream with lidocain or something in it to help with the pain. DO NOT PUT BUTTER ON A BURN. You are not a boiled ear of corn!
Depending on the severity of the burn, she may need to be seen by a physician, they can prescribe stronger creams to apply.
next time PLZ read the labels... they make stuff specifically for the face, the skin on your face is much more sensative than the skin on your legs. I am glad she didnt get any in her eyes.
Good Luck and blessings.

Make sure all traces of the Nair have been removed. Facial skin is thinner and more delicate than leg hair - I used to use that for my moustache & it hurts like bloody hell. Since it's an acid you might want to make a paste of water and baking soda (a base) & apply it to a limited area. If that stings remove it immediately. If it helps, leave it for maybe ten minutes. Use some aloe vera gel (from the sun care aisle) for healing & cooling. She needs to keep aspirin in her system to keep any swelling down and for pain.
Aveeno is also really soothing.
In the future she might want to use one of those pen shavers for her upper lip. Keep it away from the eyes - they're a good way to lose eyelashes.

Ok, first off. Get some ice on it. While she has the ice pack on her face, get sometime to wash her face with. Wash as much of the Nair off as you can. Use medium cool water and mild facial cleanser. You might even take some tylenol. Find some of the lotion that people use more minor burns and posin ivy. Just try to keep her face cool for a while. That should help the pain.

I used it on my legs once and it burned them. Well, I'm not positive it burned them but they were red, blotches and itchy. It eventually went away. Put some aloe Vera cream on or something to sooth the pain. Try a cold cloth too.

It says on the packaging to not use it on your face, but since the damage is done....Put an Aloe Vera cream on it (apply often), maybe even talk to a dermatologist.

Keep it moisturized and take Ibupropen. I can't believe that product is still around. Stinks and can be dangerous or not work at all.
