I know there's an adapter thing that is able to do it, but I forgot what it's called.

If you have a PC operating system, you can check out Hauppauge WinTV. It's what I use - it's pretty sweet. The downside is that it's a bit expensive (but it is definitely worth it, especially for me since I travel around a lot and it's not worth it for me to get a computer) and you need an antenna for it (but, the plus side of that is that you can strip down one of those twistie ties and use that as an antenna). The plus side is that it's super convenient.

Assuming you already have cable television available in your home, all you need is a "Tuner" card for your PC. This has to be installed into the Motherboard. Then you attached the television coaxial cable to that card and configure with the program it comes with.

go to newegg.com they have a section on tv cards for pci slot agp also one tuner you plug into usb port hegolf@sbcglobal.net
