Listen to the radio?

More seriously: radiologists are specialists in diagnostic procedures using medical imaging. Originally they used X-rays (which is a form of radiation), hence the "radiology", but these days they use a variety of technologies, e.g. ultrasound, electro-magnetic resonance, etcetera.

They operate and analyze x-ray and other radioactive devices in either a healthcare or manufacturing setting. I worked with a guy that went to school to be a radiologist in the medical industry and ended up making more money x-raying steel castings in a foundry. There are many options.

Ooh ... Ooh ... I know this one.

They look at an absolutely blank white screen, turn to you and see "See
this line right here?"

And most people, not wanting to look like fools say "Why yes, now that you
point it out, I do".

And now, with the Internet, you can have an absolutely blank screen
IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM.

So ... you too can say (now from your own living room): See that line
right there?

And get paid for it!

(and to all the radiologists I know ... sorry, but you KNOW its true)

They analyze x-rays and other pictures from MRIs or CT and PET scans. They're in charge of telling other doctors what they see from the pictures they take of you (well inside of you to be more precise). They get paid very well to do their job but a lot of hospitals are outsourcing to other countries bc. they can't afford to hire one in the country.

basically they opperate x-ray machines, yes that can break down into multiple carrers like repairing or designing the machines or interpreting the x-rays but in general it is working with an xray machine. personally not too exciting of a job, but its what you like to do, dont get a job for the money, find a job you like!
