X Factor hopefuls (and most other reality Tv "talent" shows) usually are a talentless bunch.
Even the few that have genuinely good voices don't really have any individuality or originality which might keep the public interested in them. Thats why they get forgotten about so quickly.
Lots of people can sing. There are people down my local pub who have really good voices when they get on the Karaoke but they're never going to be famous singers! It takes something a bit extra to be a star. And none of these losers have it.

Hang on.. Your question suggests that at some point X factor was never more than a poor excuse for a holiday camp talent show full of talentless wannabe's for it's entire run.
Saturday night TV should be outlawed. Lowest common denominator pap the lot of it (except for Match of the Day).

None of them has what I would call the X factor. They are just good ordinary run of the mill type singers that you would get in any pub or workingmans type club act. Some of the losers of the last X factor were a lot better than all of these in this X factor series. They will not get anywhere apart from the winner getting the prize money.

Wasn't Simon unhappy at losing one, personally he was not that good, but i would have had the McDonald brothers or whom ever they are out a long time ago. I think the Xfactor is fixed, there are a couple of them that are just completely rubbish.
Leona or Ben to win, although Ben was let down with crap backing tonight, Sharon messed up with him this week

x factor, pop idol, they're all a bunch of crap anyway. only desperate and talentless people go on those shows. over-rated, overhyped pile of horse manure. i couldn't give a toss who wins or who sings what.

I don't think anyone could describe Leona as talentless. But she doesn't seem to have much personality to back it up with, so she may well disappear.

its never been ANY good at all, why its such a hit i'll never understand it promotes TALENTLESS, SELFPROMOTING MEDIA WHORES, no one with any real musical ability will ever appear on shows like these at all its like product testing focus group for teenage girls and a preview of heat magazine for the next year or so imagine Kurt Cobain or Morrisey, going "i got my start on pop idol!"....no true credible musician will ever appear on it, it also represents the rise of ignorance and the decline in public intelligence in recent years.

Yes i do it is a waste of time putting it on thank god that ashley has gone when are they going to put something on that is worth watching i am bored with it too.
