1975 VW diesel rabbit. The ignition switch was just that, a switch bought from True Value, sometimes a screwdriver wroked also. It was painted with a brush and roller in flat brown primer. I bought it for $400 in Florida, drove it all the way to Massachussetts and it got 40+mpg. It started falling apart so my friends and I cut the top off making it a permanent convertible, thank you Milwaukee sawz-all. Then we painted it rasta colors. This was after I had put about 30k miles on it, alignment was so bad I had to replace the front left tire every month with one I got at the junkyard rim and all. She was called, "Sexual Chocolate." Sold it to some hippy for 80 bucks.

A tree green 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle, had it for a month prior to it catching fire, hadn't named it then, but it has since been dubbed "The Nazi Cab" due to it's origin.
