It sounds like bragging, but is not meant that way. I know my stories are very good and could be best sellers among the young people. I've been told that they are a cross between Harry Potter and Little House on the Prairie.

You don't need an agent, you can just send out queries/manuscripts to publishers directly.

What you should do is to research publishers, not an agent. Start finding publishers with your genre. But be careful! Follow their direction carefully! Best of luck!
