#1- take a pregnancy test, some women still have some bleeding when they are pregnant, so you never know
#2- if you are or have been sick with a cold, flu, pneumonia, that can screw up your cycle. I had pneumonia, and my period lasted 3 weeks because of that. My doctor says that it happens sometimes, especially if you are really sick.
no matter what, you need to see a doctor. you never know what it could be, and its better to catch a problem early

Could you be pregnant?and now miscarrying? Or are you on the pill,It could be something to do with that. If you get pain or don't stop bleeding by Monday I'd be tempted to give doc a ring.

hormonal imbalance - poly cysitc ovarian syndrome(PCOS)? fibroids? some Doctors prescribe the pill dianette, for PCOS, if that doesnt work they can also prescribe the water tablets SPIRONOLACTONE 100-200mg daily, after a series of tests
